Experience

Don Deese is a Mechanical Designer with over 17 years of experience in the engineering fields of Project Management, Machine Design, Software Development, Plumbing Design, and Mechanical HVAC Design.

Prior to joining Shultz Engineering Group, Mr. Deese was a Project Manager and Senior Mechanical Designer with Vrettos Pappas Consulting Engineers in Charlotte.  His systems design experience includes those for office buildings, churches, "strip" shopping malls, restaurants, movie theaters, warehouses, medical clinics, mixed-use buildings, schools, and multi-family housing.  He has worked on a wide variety of projects that require knowledge and experience of Hydronic Systems, Dehumidification Systems, Constant Volume, and Variable Volume Air Systems.

Specific retail projects personally designed include facilities for CVS, Eckerd, Walgreen’s, Tire Kingdom, Food Lion, Lowes Foods, Gander Mountain Sporting Equipment, Bed Bath and Beyond, Suncom, and Shoe Show.
